New in The Shop.

S&S Pick of The Week.
The Lofgren "Donkey Puncher" Boots were the very first style we ever ordered from John Lofgren Bootmaker, and they continue to be a shop favorite almost 10 years later. Featuring a super comfortable lace-to-toe fit, robust construction, and a full logger heel, they're a serious and handsome boot. This model in particular—made from natural (undyed) Horween CXL cowhide—is our current obsession, as the leather will darken significantly over time and with wear, making these a highly dynamic choice with some of the best patina potential of any footwear we carry.

How the Military Stayed Warm | Field Guide
You might be familiar with the classic field jacket, but what about its conspicuous companion piece, the liner? Upon initial development, the M43 liner was basically another jacket; too bulky, too heavy, and too limited. After a few years of field testing in various climates, it became clear it had to be updated...
Enter, the M65 liner. Lighter and more technical, it was a functional upgrade in just about every way, and has since become highly popular in civilian markets. In this episode of Field Guide, Charles returns to take us through the history of America's earliest techwear, and why the style is still so beloved after so many decades.
