Product details
Produced in Japan by Warehouse & Co, John Gluckow garments are designed in collaboration with John Gluckow himself, a long time industry veteran and respected vintage collector. Each piece is functionally familiar but stylistically unique - not interested in simply replaying the hits, John finds weird, funky, and obscure styles that nobody else is making and rebuilds them to the highest quality.
True to form, John Gluckow pulled this stellar ski-patrol shirt jacket from his archive to reproduced. Originally from the 1960s, this would have likely been worn by members of a mountain's ski patrol. With that is mind, the design features a variety of amazing mid-century sportswear detailing like a chinstrap collar, snap closed front pockets, hidden front buttons, and straight hem.
Made from a high-density 100% cotton fabric, it will be sure to keep the mountain winds off your back. The color of the shirt-jac can only be described as a between between butternut squash and creamsicle, a perfect vintage washed out orange.
The Shirt-jac, as its name implies, fits a bit more like a jacket. It runs large, allowing you to layer beneath. Or order a size down for a more traditional overshirt fit. Wash cold, hang dry.
