From Victorian era curiosities to early 20th century equestrian and motorcycle wear to rare WW2 era items - Black Sign garments are beautifully constructed, with a shared identity and aesthetic cohesion running through the collection to a degree we rarely see in brands focusing on reproductions & recreations.

The Denim Croft Pants are inspired by the humble workwear of antiquity, with a simple straight leg and high rise fit that's further complimented by the sack waist + buckle-back combo and single outer leg pocket. In addition to the buckle back and belt loops, the inside features buttons that braces (suspenders) can be affixed to, should you so desire.

It's made from a 15.5oz sashiko topstitched denim fabric from Japan. It's a sulfur-dyed black fabric, and will fade over time in a manner similar to an indigo denim, except black. The extensive sashiko stitching throughout actually helps to relax the fairly heavy 100% cotton denim, giving the plush fabric a less stiff hand.
