Product details
Warehouse & Co came about in 1995, as the final members of the Osaka 5, the collective responsible for driving the vintage and selvedge denim boom of the 1990s. Founded by former Evisu and Full Count employees, the twin brothers Kenji and Kenichi Shiotani, Warehouse is known for their meticulous detail and considered construction.
A historical mid-point between the "modern" 5-pocket jean and its predecessor, the waist overalls. Cut with a straight leg, high rise, and five handy pockets. It's sewn up from a very slubby and hairy rope-dyed natural indigo denim that starts off a lighter blue and fades more quickly over time. The construction for these jeans uses an incredibly high SPI (stitch-per-inch) lockstitch construction that requires immense focus and attention to detail to execute properly.
Construction details include 100% cotton stitching, copper coated steel rivets, no belt loops, a two-prong buckle back, and donut suspender buttons around the waist. These vintage details and denim come together in a roomy straight fit with a very subtle taper, bringing back the best of the fits of yesteryear.
Unsanforized (shrink to fit) - these run large and will shrink to the tag size after the first wash. Most shrinkage will occur during the initial soak - but be aware that the garment may continue to come in further during the first 3 washes. Over time, the fabric will stretch back out with wear (before shrinking again after a wash). Wash cold, hang to dry.
