Warehouse & Co came about in 1995 as the final members of the Osaka 5, the collective responsible for driving the vintage and selvedge denim boom of the 1990s. Founded by former Evisu and Full Count employees, the twin brothers Kenji and Kenichi Shiotani, Warehouse is known for their meticulous detail and considered construction.
Jean washing is a hotly debated subject, as many of you surely know. This Warehouse & Co. denim wash should help alleviate any reservations you might have about washing your nicely faded jeans. This wash, featuring a delicate floral aroma, is specifically designed to remove sebum –– thats the oil on your skin –– and dirt stains while leaving your indigo color alone. Not only the color, it also spares the threads keeping your jeans intact.
The denim wash is made from soybean fatty acids and purified water. Together, it adheres to the stains and helps reduce and lift them off the warp and weft of the denim. Unlike petroleum based cleaners, the Warehouse & Co. denim wash is delicate on the fibers and will not degrade or fade your denim, preserving the longevity and color of your jeans.
To use, place a capful of the Warehouse & Co. denim wash into a wash basin with enough water to soak your jeans. Warehouse & Co. recommend soaking your jeans overnight, then washing them in the washing machine set on " delicates" or "hand wash" on cold. Before washing, turn your jeans inside out and use a net bag if worried about friction.
