The design for Black Sign's Officer Trousers was inspired by vintage military trousers circa the 1940s. With a proper high rise, wide straight legs, and a handsome crease down the front (and back) of each leg. They're also just comfortable and heavy enough to wear almost all year long, one of the defining traits of any great pair of pants.
They're made from a remarkably soft 100% wool fabric with a light weight and gentle drape. They feature a pinstripe serge pattern, with narrow vertical dotted "chalk" stripes down the dark body of the fabric, providing a subtle contrast and elevating the style further, allowing you to dress these up easily. Inside, a salt and pepper chambray fabric makes up the pocket bags and partial interior lining.
Equally of note are the small details - tonal urea Cat's Eye buttons for the fly (and internally for suspenders, if so desired), multiple styles of belt loops, & the welted rear pockets with flaps that can be worn closed or tucked into the pocket for a cleaner look. The hem is left "unfinished" with only a serged edge so that these can more easily be adjusted to the ideal length.
These run slightly smaller than their tag size. For the best fit, most folks should choose the next size up from their usual waist. Dry clean or spot clean only.
