A true 1950s button down, these were drafted based on an original pattern from the 50s, featuring a roomy chest, fitted armholes, and gathering at the back yoke and cuffs for ease of motion. The collar buttons down with hidden tabs, holding the perfect swooped shape.
This batch is sewn up in a heavyweight, 100% linen oxford cloth, with a heavily brushed one-wash finish on both faces to maximize softness. Clocking in at a respectable 300gsm, the linen oxford drapes excellently, and features all the comfort and breathability of a high quality linen. The off white coloration is as good as it gets for a less formal dress shirt, being extremely versatile and flattering on virtually everyone.
It's got exceptionally details too, from the tonal buttons, to the rounded single chest pocket, to the angular seam reinforcements at the gussets on the hem. Speaking of the hem - it's long and rounded, perfect for wearing tucked in to your favorite pants or trousers.
