The Wickie Popover is a simplified old-school workshirt, cut with a standard collar and an elongated placket that sit open comfortably. The fit is generally relaxed, long enough through the body to wear tucked in, and features a single acorn-shaped chest pocket for a subtle western flair.

It's made from a lightweight (5oz) yarn-dyed cotton stripe fabric from Japan thats immediately pleasant to wear and requires no break-in. Freenote have additionally rinsed the shirts after finishing to soften the fabric even further and handle any shrinkage, taking the guesswork out of sizing.

The finishing details are equally top-tier, from the custom made-in-Italy mother of pearl buttons, to the gusseted hem and chainstitch runoffs, to the custom woven labels. The construction uses Freenote's standard 1/8" double needle stitching details, and includes pleated shoulder seams for a more natural drape.
