Description
Freenote's Western Pants are tall, wide, and handsome. Cut with a nice tall rise and roomy top block, they feature a V-gusset and buckle back (with a reproduction metal buckle from Japan) that can be used to adjust the fit. Lacking any sort of back yoke, Freenote have added two darts down the sides of the back rise, giving additional shape to the top block and improving fit throughout.
These have some serious construction - fully finished seams and internal binding, Japanese herringbone pocket bags and lining, as well as flat felled inseams and outseams for exceptional durability. Very much built to last, the heavy stitchwork, durable seams, and tight finishing ensure that the Western Pants can stand up to whatever you want to do in them.
Made from a 100% cotton yarn dyed Japanese dobby fabric, these feature a textured wabash design with an indigo body. The "topstitching" is undyed, and over time the body will fade as the indigo wears away. The rest of the details are pretty classic for a pair of pants: two slash pockets for your hands, one welted pocket (with a custom real horn button to close it) on the rear, plus a buckle back and a bunch of belt loops for when you really gotta secure that waistband.
Fits true to size. Minimal shrinkage expected with cold wash and hang dry.
