The A-3 Cap is possibly the most of the most subtly iconic pieces of US Military headwear, persisting well into the modern age almost in secret, appearing to most as a short brimmed ball cap. But it's much more than that - originally issued during the second World War, the A-3 "Mechanics" cap was issued to, as you may have guessed, mechanics - but became popular among pilots and aircrews thanks to the hat's functional, comfortable, and compact design. 

Made from a classic olive drab cotton HBT (herringbone twill), it's a excellent reproduction of a true classic. Inside, the seams are reinforced with cotton herringbone "tape", and heavy duty 100% cotton threads hold everything together.

Fits true to size. Do not wash.
