1st PAT-RN is the brainchild of designers Cristiano Berto and Silvia Piccin, established out of their combined experience in design and fashion consultation. Their garments are laser focused on wearability and optimized for daily life. Kind of a strange sentence, because what clothes aren't? But it starts to make a lot more sense once you've tried on some 1st PAT-RN. Everything, and we do mean everything, from the fabric composition, to the cut, to the placement of pockets, is done with the wearer in mind.
The Tipo 4 is a dress shirt designed to pair with the rest of 1st PAT-RN's lineup. It's cut with a long body and shirttail hem for wearing tucked in, with a relaxed torso and classic point collar. The other design details are fairly minimal, the main exception being the unique side entry chest pocket on the right chest, a departure from the more traditional bucket pocket usually found on the left side of dress shirts.
It's made from a Japanese sateen called "Pelleovo" or Eggskin - an extremely high quality 100% cotton textile, it's got a solid hand and sturdy feel, with surprising drape throughout and no resistance or break in. It behaves more like a linen fabric than a pure cotton one, with a very fluid movement and a proclivity towards wrinkling and rumpling after some time, very naturally wearing in to the shape of your body.
Fits true to size. Wash cold and hang dry.
