11.11 is an exceptional label, with an ethos that strongly aligns with the S&S call to own fewer, better things — producing slow-fashion garments deliberately and sustainably across a network of local artisans and craftspeople throughout India. Everything they make is truly unique, with an undeniably natural and "human" element, from their patchwork and kantha embroidery, to the irregular nature of their low-tension handwoven textiles, to the tie-dye and natural indigo finishes, all of which will patina beautifully over time.
The Tailored Pant are a more exaggerated silhouette from 11.11, with an extremely oversized waistband, high rise, dramatic taper, and cropped legs. The front is pleated for an even more relaxed top block, with an internal drawstring that can be used to easily and quickly adjust the fit (necessary given the waist measurements). They've got the usual finishing details, from the subtle embroidery on the left front pocket, to the embroidered waist button, to the partial lining and finished interior with no uncovered edges or seams.
It's made from a surprisingly soft cotton canvas - lightweight, and woven using 100% cotton yarns, it features a gorgeous turquoise finish with a ton of tonal variation and textural depth on top of its neppy face. The color is achieved with all natural dyes harvested from the Indian landscape, and over time will develop gentle fades and increased tonal variety as they wear in.
Unisex - these have an oversized and exaggerated fit - consult our measurements before ordering. Machine wash on delicate, or hand wash, and hang dry.
