Sweatshirt "Patsy" - Oatmeal
Product details
Warehouse & Co came about in 1995 as the final members of the Osaka 5, the collective responsible for driving the vintage and selvedge denim boom of the 1990s. Founded by former Evisu and Full Count employees, the twin brothers Kenji and Kenichi Shiotani, Warehouse is known for their meticulous detail and considered construction.
These sweatshirts pack a lot of punch. The fabric is a medium weight loopwheel knit produced in Wakayama, Japan. There are only a few hundred loopwheel knitting machines left in the world. The gravity fed nature of these machines, slow rotational speed, and number of yarns coming in (only 2 to 6 yarns, rather than dozens) produce the softest, lowest tension knit possible. The inside is lightly brushed, giving a soft and slightly dry feel that is perfect for wearing all year long.
The Patsy sweatshirt features a custom doodle print on the front and back inspired by ivy-league athletic sweatshirts that students in the mid 1900s would personalize with art and writing. The back and front of the collar feature a classic athletic detail, a rib-knit V for additional ventilation and moisture absorption - these don't have an official name, but we call them "neck doritos" around the shop.
True to size. These are rinsed, and should remain stable if washed cold and hang-dried.
- 100% cotton loopwheel knit
- Brushed interior
- Custom doodle prints
- Rib-knit V beneath collar
- Rinsed for initial shrinkage
- Relaxed fit
- Wash cold, hang dry
- True to size
- Made in Japan
