With a stylistic focus that zooms in on the era where denim transitioned from "workwear" to a casual fabric, Fullcount were the first brand to start making their denim from hand-picked Zimbabwean cotton, which is famous for its long staple length (granting it both greater softness and durability than short staple cottons).
A proper country garment, Fullcount's Farmer's Trousers are an extremely handsome and classic pair of pants made from a (secretly) futuristic fabric. The fit is old fashioned, with a relaxed top block and high rise, full thighs, and wide straight legs that end in a permanent cuff. They've got a classic four pocket configuration, with slash pockets at the front and welted pockets at the rear, as well as internal suspender buttons for if you felt fancier than just wearing a belt.
They're made from a 100% cotton heavyweight 8-wale corduroy fabric, woven with compacted yarns for maximum insulation and softness. Compact yarns are a recent innovation, only made possible by modern yarn-spinning machines, and are both stronger and softer than "regular" and combed yarns (another high quality yarn produced with a majority of long staple fibers). The cord itself it some of the very best we've ever handled, with a robust drape, gorgeous luster, and exceptional warmth & comfort.
It's dyed a rich nut brown color, with a dark nap that scuffs to reveal a lighter core beneath, and will develop a unique patina over time with wear and washing. The dying for the fabric takes place at a factory in the Senshu region of Osaka, Japan, using traditional methods - the color itself considered one of Japan's "national treasures" as Fullcount tells it.
