Founded in 2011 out of a desire to create higher quality and better looking clothing for hiking, camping, and mountaineering, And Wander is lead by designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori, who previously worked together at ISSEY MIYAKI. Initially launching as a menswear label, they've since expanded their sizing to include women's and unisex offerings as well.

The styles range from the more casual to the most hardcore technical apparel you can find, with each garment including an illustration of 1-3 mountains on the tag that denote its overall "field level" of performance. Pieces with only one mountain are suitable for everything from the city to the campground, two mountains work for more intense hikes and outings, & styles with three mountains are equipped for the most serious inclement weather and seasonal intensity.
