Y'2's WJ-01 is one hell of a western jacket - with a longhorn style front and back yoke (a particularly ornamental one at that, with multiple points and a full fringe trim) and a slick fit that feels like a second skin the moment you throw it on. Completely unlined, it has two comfortable hand pockets and not much else, letting the impressive cutting and numerous fringe embellishments do the talking.
Cut with a trim body and full sleeves, this jacket can be taken true to size for a more slim fit, as the unlined body will more easily break in to your shape. Alternatively, you can choose the next size up for a more relaxed jacket-like fit that you can more easily layer beneath.
The leather is a 1.3mm full grain steerhide roughout suede (that's a mouthful) - this is the reverse side of Y'2's oiled steerhide. Ultra soft and supple, this leather requires virtually no break-in whatsoever. Despite being a fully struck-through black leather (without a tea core), this suede exhibits beautiful tonal depth - with a subtle texture that becomes most obvious in direct light.
