Your new favorite warm-weather shirt, Indi + Ash's Cedar shirt is a comfortable short sleeve popover shirt with a great fit and some exceptional details. Each shirt features solo-tailor construction, meaning it was made start to finish by just a single operator, with french seams throughout, and will hold up for a long time as a result.
The fit is easy, with a relaxed (but not wide) body, half placket, and subtle hand-embroidered details around the collar and chest pocket. It layers easily both over lighter knitwear as well as under thicker jackets & outerwear, allowing this to stay within your rotation even when temperatures drop.
It's made from Kala cotton, a wild organic cotton from India that is grown without any pesticides, fertilizers, or irrigation - growing perfectly fine on just rainwater and its own natural resistance to pests and disease. Naturally short staple, a special finishing process combined with hand-weave produce a fabric that is soft, light and airy. The hand is cool and dry, wearing similarly to linen but without all the wrinkles.
