Designed and manufactured in-house at their LA workshop, MATiAS produce some of the best fits we've experienced, with subtle and sometimes unusual tailoring details, employed deliberately to perfect drape, enhance comfort, & compliment their remarkable fabric choices.
This special edition Somonte Pant features a slightly roomier and more relaxed fit through the leg, with the usual high rise and comfortable top block. Effortlessly blending cargo pants with leisurewear, the elasticated waistband and velvet body are enhanced by zip side-entry hand pockets and heavyweight cargo pockets on the outer thigh of each leg.
The fabric is the detail to pay attention to here: an indigo velour poly/cotton velvet, with an all-black outer face and pigment dyed indigo inner face. Extremely soft and comfortable, it's the ideal fabric for a subtly opulent trouser like these. Be aware that the pigment-dyed indigo interior can potentially crock on other garments in certain conditions.
