S&S x Runabout Goods Wool CPO Shirt

Many years ago when we were still a single store, operating out of a converted stable in Temescal Alley, these CPO shirts were the most expensive item we carried. They were also one of the first runaway hits for us at the shop, selling as quickly as we could get them.
Now resurrected as an exclusive collaboration, these are hands-down some of the best CPO shirts ever made. Made from a heavyweight 100% wool fabric, the body is tough, & bears all the best traits of any good wool: quick drying & moisture-wicking, it insulates heat well, and resists dirt & stains. The dense fabric is surprisingly soft given its heft, and will grow softer over time as it breaks-in and takes the shape of your body.
The fit is relaxed, but not wide, and will look natural worn both open and closed. When temperatures drop, it will fit easily beneath your favorite jacket, for exceptional insulation. For storage, two large acorn-shaped patch pocket sit on the chest, with the left pocket being double-breasted, having a second smaller pocket sitting atop it. All three of these handy pockets close up with two flaps, that are secured down with wreath & star donut buttons.
Said "Wreath & Star" donut buttons are solid metal, and secured with double prong tacks, making them virtually indestructible. Equally indestructible are the seams, which are flat felled with double needle chainstitching holding them together. Reinforcing the collar, cuffs, placket, & yoke is a 100% cotton mock twist twill, in a salt & pepper colorway, for even more comfort and durability.
