RJ-2 Shearling Rider's Jacket - 20oz Denim

This is a heavyweight upgrade to a familiar piece. Part cafe-racer jacket, parter trucker jacket, the RJ2 has been a well-loved mainstay of Freenote's collection for years. Inspired by the sherpa trucker jackets of years past, everything has been upgraded from the inside-out.
The whole garment revolves around the 100% shearling lining, hand-selected for color and quality. Typically, sherpa jackets used low-grade or synthetic shearling, rather than the luxury-level goods. The exterior of the garment is 20oz selvedge denim from Japan, well past the standard 14oz of past jackets. Holding it shut is the heaviest zipper we've ever seen from Universal Zipper in Japan. It's sewn up with Freenote's signature tight 1/8" double needle stitching, and all of the hardware is custom-made for them.
The fit is further enhanced with a pleated front, bi-swing gussets at the arms, and an adjustable action back for ease of movement. The sleeves are lined with a custom quilted satin that slides easily over other fabrics and feels great on bare skin, and if storage is your concern, then you can enjoy this jacket's 4 highly functional pockets (two handwarmers at the front, a zip chest pocket, and a single internal chest pocket).
