The Randy Shirt is a short sleeve Western shirt with a normal name unless you live in England, in which case it's a slightly amusing name. My understanding of UK culture borderline at best, so if the name is not amusing to the English, it's my job to write about the new clothing - and that work keeps me pretty much solidly within the bounds of the United States, which fought a war once to make sure I didn't need to ever know what they were doing in England.
That aside, the Randy is a classic Western shirt with the sleeves trimmed short, but all the other details still fully intact - snap front, western front and back yokes, two chest pockets, and a slightly tailored fit that tucks in well (but looks good worn untucked). It's a great garment for anyone committed to the Western Shirt lifestyle that may also be looking to tan their arms/show off their muscles/cool off a little bit.
It's made from an old school indigo dot stripe fabric, reminiscent of workwear prints from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Woven from 100% cotton, it's lightweight and slightly structed, promising to break in over time and developing a soft and relaxed drape throughout.
