W'Menswear was founded by Lauren Yates in 2015, born out of a desire to produce high quality, heritage-inspired garments for women - with a nuanced and ever-evolving perspective on femininity at the intersections of fashion, workwear, military garments, and history. Originally operating out of a converting shipping container in Bangkok, the brand has grown substantially with each new collection, employing specialty and custom fabrics as well as partnering with local workshops & artisans.

The 2024 collection, titled Diesel Fueled Defiance, is inspired by women who were on the forefront of automobile racing during the Civil Rights movements of the 1960s. Facing down particularly fierce and widespread sexist sentiments, these women brought about advancement for all women through their relentless pursuit of speed and the feeling of adventure.

The Rally Coat is a full length liner style jacket with an open collar and relaxed fit. It's got two roomy handwarmer pockets, padded elbows and a reinforced placket and hem. The cuffs are elasticated for a more secure fit and pronounced silhouette, but the whole thing is wide enough to easily layer over other heavy knitwear or even light jackets.

It's made from a soft and hairy polyester/wool plaid fabric with a loose drape and contrasting cotton/tencel trims throughout. The front closes up with custom Yin Yang buttons, and the inside is lined with more cotton for comfort, making this an excellent piece of outerwear for colder seasons.
