Since its founding 2001, designer Hiroki Nakamura's Visvim has built an extremely dedicated cult following. With a laser focus on crafting unique and high quality "future vintage" garments, Visvim has gained international acclaim over the past two decades for their unique perspective and exceptional design.
Not limited strictly to workwear or couture, they produce Folkwear, inspired by regional and historical manufacturing techniques from mud-dyeing to crocheting, with collections that build off of each previous year and develop holistically, season after season.
The pointer coat is an extended-length chore coat style "shop jacket", done up in a washed cotton twill that's just right to wear in all but the coldest weather. It's got three pockets for storage, two roomy patch handwarmer pockets and a single breast pocket.
Sewn up in a medium-lightweight 100% cotton twill, it's a classic outerwear fabric that Visvim have additionally rinsed for softness and shrinkage. The front and sleeves close up with tonal horn buttons.
Fits true to size. Wash cold and hang dry.
