Kapital is undoubtedly one of our most unique brands, as well as one of our favorites. From their iconic Ring Coats and Century Denim, to the scarves and bandannas we love so much, to their patchwork and Kountry pieces, and everything else they make, Kapital is a brand that has earned their reputation of style, brilliance, and just a hint of madness.
One of the things Kapital does best is patchwork, this indigo aloha shirt serving as a perfect example of their impressive design chops and technical talent. As part of the Kountry line, each shirt is hand distressed and sewn together to exact specifications, creating a garment that is as unique and interesting as it is consistent and well-made. Sewn up from several different indigo fabrics, it's a blend of 60% linen and 40% cotton, giving it the drape and breathability of linen without losing the softness of cotton.
Throughout the garment, in addition to the multiple different fabric patterns and patchwork construction, there are also hand distressed points that have been given custom boro repairs to. The chest has two pockets for storing your keys or sunglasses, and the aloha collar really cements the whole thing as a garment for comfort and leisure. As a reminder, these are handmade items, and each individual garment may have subtle variations from the one pictured.
