Inspired by vintage aviator caps and borrowing details from an antique leather helmet, the Paraffin Weather Aviator Cap is one of the more interesting modular hats to pass through our doors - which is actually saying something, as we've stocked quite a few unique and brilliant transforming hats (we have a thing for them).

Switching easily between a more classic mechanics cap silhouette, with a short brim and soft crown, and an old school flight cap complete with ear flaps and loops for goggles. This being a summer hat, it's made from a lightweight cotton weather cloth and complete with eyelet vents for breathability, as opposed to heavy sheepskin like you'd find on a cold weather flying cap.

Made from a 100% cotton weather cloth, the fabric has been treated with a paraffin waxing to help it resist wind and water much more effectively, and giving the fabric a unique finish that will patina handsomely over time.
