Since 2006, Mountain Research has been delivering some of the best outdoor wear around – both in style and function. The brainchild of Japanese designer Kobayashi Setsumasa, the brand has a singular focus on outdoor life without falling into any of any stereotypical ravines of the style. Kobayashi takes inspiration from the golden age of outdoor wear, military and naval designs, as well as modern mountaineering gear. Altogether, it refers to itself as ‘Anarcho Mountaineers.’

The O.D. Tee Plus is just that, a tee with a bit more to offer. Like so many of Mountain Research designs it is deceptively simple on the surface but full of details that only a true master could hide in plain sight. The most obvious detail is the faux layering. The shirt appears to be simple tee layered over a waffle thermal. In reality, the thermal sleeves are attached to the short tee sleeves via a hidden zipper (think zip away hiking pants). On top of that, the shirt also features to side pockets and a drawstring at the hem.

The tee is made from a 100% UV protective polyester. The elastic drawcord at the hem is adjusted with a classic plastic cord lock and features a branded Shoegaze tag.

Fits true to size with adjustable hem and detachable sleeves. Wash cold and hang dry.
