The styles range from the more casual to the most hardcore technical apparel you can find, with each garment including an illustration of 1-3 mountains on the tag that denote its overall "field level" of performance. Pieces with only one mountain are suitable for everything from the city to the campground, two mountains work for more intense hikes and outings, & styles with three mountains are equipped for the most serious inclement weather and seasonal intensity.
Made from a lightweight nylon taffeta fabric, these are a water resistant and UV-blocking short with an easy fit. The waistband features an integrated adjustable belt, so the fit is always perfect, and they've got an extra pocket on the thigh (in addition to the usual four).
