Originally founded in 2006, Attractions began as a vintage reseller, importing pieces from the United States and the UK before starting their own production in 2011. Their experience in the vintage world provided them with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to develop their own styles, growing into an impressive and very special brand in a market saturated with alternatives.
With a deliberate focus on highly specific and often obscure styles from the last hundred years, Attractions produce some truly stellar and unique pieces, occupying a stylistic wheelhouse closely adjacent to "biker" but plainly distinct from other similar repro brands. Inspired by the progression of youth culture and style, Attractions infuse their own perspective into both the pieces they design, and the ways they design them.
Inspired by 40s style US Military chinos, these are some of the most versatile trousers a person could add to their wardrobe, rendered in the highest quality from an interesting and dynamic fabric. They've got the classic high rise, wide straight leg fit that we'd expect, with double-needle seams and a tonal urea button fly to remind you of their military origins.
The fabric is a lightweight 100% cotton canvas, with sulfide-dyed yarns that are not fully penetrated with pigment, meaning they keep their natural core and will gradually fade in color over time. Finished with a wash to imbue them with an already slightly dusty black tone, these will grow lighter over time, particularly in areas of high wear and after washes, much in the same way that denim fabrics do - developing a unique patina for each individual wearer.
With five perfectly functional pockets to store your things in (one is a coin pocket, so some of your "things" have to be coins), you won't be choosing style over function when you pick these up. Inside, the top block and pocket bags are all done up with a cotton HBT fabric for extra comfort and longevity, and for extra security, the waist features 2" belt loops that will accommodate even the chunkiest of belts
