The Lazy Travel Jacket is aptly named both for its fit and copious pocket space. The jacket is cropped to the waist with a boxy flaired silhouette reminiscent of a vintage pullover type smock. It's got double front pockets, two bellowed flap pockets with two side entry hand pockets sitting behind them.
The unique silhouette of the coat is achieved by careful construction, starting with pleats at the neck to the top of the pockets. Next in an inverted pleat in the back, together these make for A-shape silhouette. True to form, everything closes up with Monitaly's favorite mil-spec melamine buttons.
It's made from a plush medium weight wool flannel that's woven with 85% wool and 15% nylon yarns. It weighs in at about 12oz, and feels substantial without being too warm, breathing fairly well and staying comfortable during transitional seasons. It has a fairly structured drape and a slightly scratchy texture reminiscent of vintage blankets and old school hunting flannel.
