The Real McCoy's leather jackets are produced to a standard higher than just about any other in the world. Even the carefully managed supply chains of the luxury houses can't touch what goes into each of these jackets. They are atelier-made at The Real McCoy's headquarters in Kobe, start to finish by a single craftsperson.
Inspired by the extremely popular leather car coats of the 1930s, the Real McCoy's Horsehide car coat is one hell of a leather jacket. The horsehide is produced exclusively for The Real McCoy's by Shinki Hikaku. Every cut is deliberate to deliver the best panel for the job, avoiding scars, thin spots, and just about any imperfection that could blow out in ten or twenty years. All of the trims, from the wool lining to the thread itself, are custom made for this jacket.
It's cut long, but not too long, hitting just below the waist on most folks. The front of the jacket closes up with tonal urea buttons, while the inside is lined with a custom tonal wool fabric for added comfort. For storage, two welted hand pockets can be found on the front of the jacket, with a single extra pocket internally. Two button tab adjusters on the back can be used to modify the fit, should you deem it necessary.
