Freenote's Aces High collection is a special capsule-release that they've fit into the early Fall/Winter 2025 season. Featuring custom woven labels to celebrate the occasion, Aces High is a Western-inspired set, with murdered-out black denim, embellished honky tonk shirts, cowboy blazers, and more!

The High Low Jacket is technically one of the oldest styles in Freenote's lineup, taking inspiration from cropped trucker jackets, among other styles. It's cut similarly to a Type-3 jacket, with a button placket and two flap chest pockets, but also features handwarmer pockets cleverly integrated into the front seams (and reinforced with rivets for extra durability). It's got an adjustable hem around the back, and a standard collar up top — like the styles that inspired it, the High Low jacket is cut slightly-cropped, creating the most flattering silhouette with higher-rise trousers, and staying comfortable when worn sitting.

The Aces High black denim is a 100% cotton Japanese selvedge with an all-black finish that clocks at about 14.5oz. Woven for Freenote at Kaihara Mills in Japan, it's a slow-fading fabric, with a more tightly-woven and uniform face. The denim is fairly stiff at first, but will quickly break in, softening and taking the shape of the wearer's body. 

A special release means special hardware, and the Aces High set didn't miss the memo there. Featuring shiny brass rivets and custom brass Freenote buttons, it's a very subdued way to make things pop a bit more, and the exposed brass will patina beautifully alongside the denim. Everything else is what you'd expect, from the 1/8" double-needle stitching, to the custom woven labels.
