OrSlow is consistently one of our most popular brands, and for good reason - their combinations of great fits, custom fabrics, and handsome styles fit easily into almost any wardrobe. Founded in 2005 by designer Ichiro Nakatsu, OrSlow takes it’s name from Ichiro’s desire to make the opposite of fast fashion, or ‘slow clothing’, as he would put it.
The Hawaiian Shorts are easily among our favorite pants this season. Few realize that the development and production of shorts is roughly 95% as much work as creating a full pair of pants, which makes sense when you realize that the legs are the least complicated part of the majority of trousers. The Hawaiian Shorts are no exception, with a comfortable top block that features an elasticated waistband and adjustable internal drawstring.
It's made from OrSlow's latest seasonal print, a sand yellow 100% cotton fabric with warm toned forest scenes all over. Highly detailed and evocative of classic camouflage patterns, it's eye-catching without being over the top, blending handsomely with simpler garments as well as other more complex patterns. Lightweight and breathable, it's ideal for summer months and hot weather, further complementing the breezy and relaxed fit.
