These are an S&S-exclusive model of Rolling Dub Trio's Griffin Engineer Boots, designed in collaboration for Fall/Winter '23. As the name suggests, they're built on RDT's "Griffin" block, which is lasted around a modified Munson fit, featuring a slightly more tapered forefoot and sleek toe profile. We further accentuated this sleekness by opting for an unstructured toe that will collapse over time as the leather breaks in.

Rolling Dub Trio are produced in small batches from the Tokyo-based "The Boots Factory", the name of the production wing of RDT. Inspired by vintage styles, Rolling Dub Trio designs are unique, featuring inspired twists and always using the highest quality materials on the market.

Utilizing old world construction methods, from two-row stitchdown to 360 flat welts, Rolling Dub Trio footwear is built not only to last, but to be fully rebuildable and recraftable over time. Featuring heavy, precise stitchwork and cleanly cut uppers - Rolling Dub Trio's footwear is as handsome as it is strong and comfortable.

Built on RDT's J-Munson-N last, a modified Munson fit, these are an extremely handsome Engineer boot, with a logger heel, almond-shaped toe, and a simple outsole. To maintain the sleek profile, they're constructed with a channeled goodyear welt, an intensive old-world process that a trusted cobbler can rebuild when the soles wear down.

They're made from a beige Japanese cowhide suede, with a soft and supple hand, rich surface texture, and subtle shine. Easy wearing but still solid, the leather starts out a little stiff but breaks in very quickly, taking the shape of the wearer's foot over time. To compliment the lighter suede - which will darken over time as it picks up a patina from sunlight, moisture, dirt, oils, and anything else you may be stomping around in - we've opted for a natural edge finish and tonal brass hardware, as well as white stitching throughout.

They're finished with custom woven internal labels, a 270 degree goodyear flat welt, and soft unlined interior. They stand on custom "THE BOOTS FACTORY" brown nitrile outside and custom heel, which feature a wonderful blend of comfort, traction, and durability.

These are built on a modified Munson Last with a standard D-width, for the best fit, we suggest going down 1 full size from Brannock. If you have particularly wide feet, you may only need to size down 0.5 from Brannock.
