Bryceland's Co. was founded in 2015 by Kenji Cheung and Ethan Newton, and has since been creating precisely tailored garments, with a focus on elevating classic styles that have stood the test of time. Employing old-school construction methods, they produce subtle but exceptional pieces, using the highest quality materials to ensure their garments hold up - only getting better over time as they wear in.
Taking inspiration from the iconic USN Foul Weather Parka, Bryceland's blend their interpretation with "updated" details from the 1960s, reimagining a piece of surplus with elements of early techwear. It's shockingly versatile, partially in spite of and partially thanks to the bright color and slouchy fit, it layers easily over other complete outfits, pairing exceptionally well with less saturated neutral tones.
It's made from a comfortable lightweight NyCo fabric, a blend of 60% cotton and 40% nylon, as introduced by Sierra Designs in the 1960s. The fabric has long since been favored for outdoor wear, thanks to its breathability, water-resistance, minimal weight, and remarkable strength.
Bryceland's have cut their Foul Weather Anorak's in only two sizes, with both fitting large and slouchy, to encourage layering. It's complete with a large (and sealed) kangaroo pocket, full hood, drawstring collar, and an adjustable hem for altering your fit on the go, perhaps in response to weather conditions or perhaps just for style.
