Since its founding 2001, designer Hiroki Nakamura's Visvim has built an extremely dedicated cult following. With a laser focus on crafting unique and high quality "future vintage" garments, Visvim has gained international acclaim over the past two decades for their unique perspective and exceptional design.
Not limited strictly to workwear or couture, they produce Folkwear, inspired by regional and historical manufacturing techniques from mud-dyeing to crocheting, with collections that build off of each previous year and develop holistically, season after season.
The Crops Down Jacket is a fully reversible, military-style down jacket with a comfortable relaxed fit and premium insulation fill. Made from a lightweight nylon fabric, with cotton trims, wool-blend ribbing, and custom water buffalo buttons, it's an extremely elevated take on a simple and minimal silhouette.
With a design somewhere between a flight jacket and a padded liner, it's astoundingly comfortable, with a wind and water-resistant body and a 93/7% goose down-feather ratio filling. The slouchy fit lends itself well to layering, making this an excellent companion during the colder seasons, with interior and exterior handwarmer pockets (no matter which way you're wearing it).
It's sewn up from a lightweight nylon twill fabric with a subtle distressed finish. Smooth, soft, and cool to the touch, both sides of the fabric are naturally dyed, and each features a unique cotton "tape" detail on the left breast.
True to size with a relaxed fit. Dry clean or spot clean only.
