Emphasizing one-of-a-kind garments, antique textiles, and truly inspired takes on classic workwear styles, Bode has been a tremendous addition to our lineup. It only takes a few seconds of handling a Bode garment to understand the incredible complexity and detail in each piece. As a brand, they don't produce basics, they produce Grails - from custom fabrics to detailed embroidery & quilting, or hand-beaded designs in place of simpler prints or woven patterns, everything is elevated and interesting.
These are cut with a more unisex fit, running slightly small relative to their tag size in order to accommodate more body types. Most folks are going to find that they land in-between sizes, in which case we suggest taking the larger of the two. Inspired by an antique quilt from the 1800s, the criss cross quilt featured hand-ties across a patchwork body with multiple external pockets.
The body is a classic three pocket work jacket, with a boxy fit, button placket (featuring tonal horn buttons), two open bucket pockets and a single flap pocket on the left breast. The super soft cotton body and lining are surprisingly lightweight but exceptionally plush, resulting in a jacket that is warm and comfortable but not heavy.
These run about a half size small to account for a more unisex fit, we suggest most folks size up. Dry clean only.
