Description
The Calico is a Freenote riff on the single sawtooth western. Though it may be Freenote's slimmest-fitting western shirt, we wouldn't call it a slim fit, it just runs more trim than the more relaxed Modern Western Shirt. The athletic fit lends itself towards being tucked in, and looks great under a jacket, but the Calico relaxes well too — not being too long to wear untucked or with cuffed sleeves.
For Spring/Summer '26, the Calico returns in a lightweight and breathable Japanese chambray, woven from a blend of cotton and linen yarns. It brings the best of both worlds, with the drape and airflow of linen without the dry texture or creasing (thanks to the cotton content). Clocking in at 5oz, the fabric is suitably light for the warmer seasons, helping you stay cool and drying out more quickly when staying cool just isn't possible.
Japanese diamond snaps, curved pocket details, and the usual Freenote 1/8” double needle stitching all work together to make this your new favorite western.
True to size. Pre-shrunk no shrink with a cold wash and hang dry.
