Description

The Calico is a Freenote riff on the single sawtooth western shirt. Cut with sloping, asymmetrical pocket flaps and a slightly curved yoke to match, the Calico has all the traditional Western details, but with a slightly more contemporary overall feel, making it very wearable in wardrobes that lean both more and less Western. 

For summer, Freenote have modified the Calico, cutting it with a shorter body and short sleeves, perfect for wearing untucked and on a hot day. The whole thing closes up with Japanese diamond pearl snaps, and features the same Western details as the long-sleeve Calico shirt - a western placket, two chest pockets, and Freenote's usual 1/8" double needle stitching.

The fabric is custom cotton/silk poplin stripe fabric with a gorgeous desaturated-earth stripe pattern. Produced in Japan, it comes in at an easy 3oz, a perfect airy lightweight fabric that's great for hot weather.

Fits true to size. Rinsed; no significant shrinkage expected with a cold wash and hang dry.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, AE/APO addresses, and PO boxes will be shipped with USPS. All other US orders will ship UPS unless otherwise requested.
