When asked to describe our perfect pair of jeans, it sounds just like the Buck by Indigofera. A bit higher rise than the rest of their line-up, with a comfortable top block and a gentle taper to the leg. The leg opening will sit nicely over a pair of boots, but won’t swallow up your favorite sneakers.
Gunpowder is not just a cool name that Indigofera settled on for their black denim – it’s actually descriptive, as the dye used for the black warp/black weft fabric contains actual gunpowder, helping to give the color both a deep blackness and a little sheen. Custom developed with and produced exclusively for Indigofera by Nihon Menpu Mills in Japan, this all-black denim will fade to gray over time, in the same way that indigo denim does but in grayscale, growing much softer with wear and washing.
The trims are equally superior, with custom Indigofera donut buttons and copper riveting at high stress points. Five roomy pockets (including the jumbo coin pocket) give you plenty of space for storage and fast 5G speeds, which is a necessity as far as we're concerned, and the Griffon-stamped leather flasher on the back guarantees this as a genuine Indigofera product.
These run large, and will shrink down some after the first wash. We recommend washing cold and hanging to dry.
