Black Sign's old-world, motorcycle style coverall, the Automobile Suit features the highest BPG (buttons-per-garment) of anything we carry by a substantial margin. Featuring a wide leg bottom half and breathable top, it comes with a removable belt that can be used to tweak the fit to the wearer's liking. The front is highly secure, including a removable bib front with custom Black Sign embroidery on one of its faces (it can be reversed to hide this detail) and a standard button placket that hides beneath that.
It's made from a lightweight drab green 100% cotton fabric, that has been treated with paraffin wax, granting wind and moisture resisting properties. This, paired with the removable front bib and collar latch (that can be used to affix the collar up and secure the front) granting exceptional protection against the elements for the fabric's light weight.
Additionally, the paraffin treatment on the fabric develops pronounced creases and tonal highlights in the fabric from wear, developing into a unique and beautiful patina over time. The bottom half features a familiar five-pocket configuration, so you can store all your goods safely, while the top features a gusseted back for greater range of movement throughout.
Runs slightly small, if you are in-between sizes, we suggest taking the larger size for the best fit. Dry clean or spot clean only.
