It only takes a few seconds of handling a Bode garment to understand the incredible complexity and detail in each piece. Concepts are pushed to their logical conclusion, choosing detailed embroidery or hand-beaded designs in place of simpler prints or woven patterns. With their emphasis on one-of-a-kind garments, antique textiles, and truly inspired takes on classic workwear styles, we're incredibly excited to be adding Bode to our lineup.
These are cut with a more unisex fit, running slightly small relative to their tag size in order to accommodate more body types. Most folks are going to find that they land in-between sizes, in which case we suggest taking the larger of the two. Inspired by vintage hand-tie quilts, the Brick Trio jacket is sewn up in a patchwork of wool blend rectangles, with a full bemberg lining and yarn hand ties all over it.
The body is a classic three pocket work jacket, with a boxy fit, button placket (featuring tonal horn buttons), two open bucket pockets and a single flap pocket on the left breast. The combination of the thick wool body and full lining make this a fairly warm garment, best saved for the colder seasons and whenever temperatures drop.
