Product details
Kapital's Kountry line is where their masterpieces hang out. This 1st Type jacket is sewn from boro cloth created at Kapital's headquarters in Kojima, Japan. Each different fabric used starts completely new, and is worked carefully to match vintage Japanese textile samples before being sewn into the jacket.
These are produced entirely behind closed doors, where the highly refined techniques that Kapital have developed are safe from the eyes of would-be imitators. Only a handful of these are made each season, as the processes and labor involved are challenging and slow. Additionally, each piece will vary slightly from the photos as they are all individually produced and individually unique.
For the Spring edition, the usual heavy blanket lining has been swapped out for a lightweight cupro/cotton blend with a patchwork denim print. Soft and breathable, it slides over other layers and won't leave you sweating on warmer days. The rest of the details remain though - from the pleated front to the buckle back.
Fits true to size. Dry clean only.
