Founded in 2010, Hansen Garments is designed in Copenhagen and produced conscientiously at different factories & workshops around Europe, using high quality European and Japanese textiles. They describe themselves as a "slow fashion" brand, creating clothing that's meant to last, both functionally and stylistically, employing classical tailoring and heritage details to create collections that can fit into a wide variety of different wardrobes.
The Betram is a bit of a souped up work jacket. It has all manner of pockets, including two lower welt pockets and two chest pockets (the right with a button closure). But even with the pocket space, the Betram cuts a sleek sleek silhouette, which is likely why Hansen calls it the refined work jacket.
Made from a the workwear staple moleskin, a heavy cotton with a brushed surface that is as soft as it is durable.
To keep the jacket spacious it has a slightly boxy fit, but nothing too extreme. Fits true to size. Wash cold, hang dry.
