Description
Produced in Japan by Warehouse & Co, John Gluckow garments are designed in collaboration with John Gluckow himself, a long time industry veteran and respected vintage collector. Each piece is functionally familiar but stylistically unique — not interested in simply replaying the hits, John finds weird, funky, and obscure styles that nobody else is making and rebuilds them to the highest quality.
The BB Round Collar Oxford is inspired by American shirts from the 1940s, and features a relaxed fit and clean silhouette that can be worn easily tucked or untucked. The standout detail is the collar, which has rounded edges for a softer and more casual impression. Beyond that, it closes up with tonal buttons, and the back has a box pleat to help with drape and movement.
It's made from an extra crispy oxford cloth, woven with 100% cotton yarns, it's dense and sturdy, but will relax and soften considerably over time, as the fabric relaxes from wear and washing. The ecru color natural and undyed, featuring dark brown cotton neps throughout the weave.
