Produced in Japan by Warehouse & Co, John Gluckow garments are designed in collaboration with John Gluckow himself, a long time industry veteran and respected vintage collector. Each piece is functionally familiar but stylistically unique - not interested in simply replaying the hits, John finds weird, funky, and obscure styles that nobody else is making and rebuilds them to the highest quality.
The Backpack game bag is sort of like if a vest and a backpack were merged together in some kind of science machine. Originally patented in 1915, this open side-entry backpack was designed to be accessible at all times without inhibiting movement or getting in the way. Featuring a surprisingly roomy interior with a second button pocket inside, it can be worn on your back for travel, or on your front for easy access.
It's made from a sturdy 100% cotton selvedge duck canvas from Japan. With a handsome brown dye, the fabric will fade and patina over time from wear and washing, developing a unique texture throughout. Additionally, the bag features leather trims and custom copper rivet reinforcements.
Fits true to size after washing (will shrink to tag size). Wash cold and hang dry.
