Samuel Zelig is a modern brand producing vintage-style garments, with a focus on what they call "uniform standards and closet essentials". Taking their inspiration from traditional American workwear styles, the designs are bolstered with French & Japanese manufacturing practices, tweaked to fit and move better without sacrificing durability or design.

The designs are highly customized, from embroidery to printwork, with unique washing and fading finishes to elevate each style well beyond its silhouette. The artwork and original designs adorning each piece from Samuel Zelig are created by designers Jonathan Levite and Melissa Marsella, changing each season and with each style.

The Antique Pant is another of Samuel Zelig's embellished trouser styles. Featuring embroidered details throughout the front and back, they're a highly detailed and beautiful pair of pants with custom designs throughout and an agreeable silhouette throughout.

The fit is also excellent, featuring a relaxed high rise top block and comfortably tapered legs - the waistband is elasticated, with an internal drawstring for even more adjustment on the fly. The level of detail on the embroidery makes additional details a challenge, but they still managed to get two surprisingly deep welted pockets in at the sides, and two bucket pockets at the rear for storage.

The fabric is an 8oz herringbone twill — crisp, dry, and comfortable, it's woven from 100% cotton yarns. After finishing, it's given a rinse to soften and shrink the fabric, taking some of the guesswork out of sizing and care. The medium-lightweight fabric is wearable during most of the year, with a pleasant structure that will relax as the fabric breaks-in, developing a comfortable drape and subtle fades over time.

Fits true to size with an elasticated drawstring waistband. Wash cold on delicate and lay flat to dry.
