The Joe McCoy label –– of The Real McCoy's –– has a new addition, the 8 Hour Union Label. Draws inspiration from the post-World War II era of mass production, consumption, and domestic economic growth in the United States that certainly produced some amazing garments. With their sizable vintage archive, The Real McCoy's set out to recreate amazing midcentury workwear like this classic flannel work shirt.

Using vintage looms and adjusting thread count and tension, they created this twisted-yarn flannel fabric that fully captures the look and more importantly the feel of those early 1950s shirts. And in what better than a buffalo check a quintessential pattern of the era for outdoor and workwear.

The buttonholes have been reinforced with an interlining and the yarn is dyed twice in different shades to give it a deeper hue.

Fits slim to true to size. Cold wash, hand dry.
