Inspired by vintage hunting shirts, most popular around the 1940s in the Midwestern United States, the 8HU Print Corduroy shirt is an absolute beast of an overshirt. With a warm and heavy custom fabric, great fit, and killer details (gusseted pockets, elbow patches), McCoy's have absolutely delivered once again.
The fabric is a brick red corduroy, with a black printed plaid over the top. Heavy and warm, the front placket and collar are reinforced, for additional stability and longevity. Two rounded elbow patches can be found exactly where you'd expect, both adding support to the elbows and also displaying the impressive technical skill of the sewers at The Real McCoy's.
Cut roomy enough to layer over a sweater or a less heavy shirt, but not so wide as to feel out of place over a tee. Two gusseted chest pockets give some storage space for small things, like cards or keys, and everything closes up with tonal (black) urea buttons.
These run true to size for a relaxed, overshirt fit. Minimal shrinkage expected with a cold wash and hang dry.
