Kapital is undoubtedly one of our most unique brands, as well as one of our favorites. From their iconic Ring Coats and Century Denim to the scarves and bandannas we love so much, to their patchwork and Kountry pieces, and everything else they make, Kapital is a brand that has earned their reputation of style, brilliance, and just a hint of madness.
These are shorts in both the most literal and the most technical sense, being constructed essentially as a full pair of pants that was cut just above the knee, raw hem and all. They've got an excellent vintage style fit, with a high rise and relaxed top block that complements the wide straight legs - feeling neither baggy nor slim, they're a delicately balanced pair of jorts.
The fabric is Kapital's 14oz indigo denim, woven from 100% cotton yarns and given a custom wash to soften the and preemptively fade the indigo, resulting in an immediately comfortable and perfectly "worn" look and feeling out the gate. Over time, they'll continue to fade and wear in, developing more high contrast areas throughout.
What makes them additionally interesting is the skeletal embroidery going down the outside of each leg, these highly detailed and presumably anatomical (I'm a clothing seller, not a doctor) chainstitched bones elevate these already great shorts into something really unique & special. Beyond that, they've got a classic five pocket fit, with a zip fly, washed leather patch, and custom hardware.
