Lot 2000XX Denim Jacket
Product details
Part of Warehouse's "Deadstock Blue" Collection, this is a jacket for a true enthusiast. A painstakingly recreated 1940s style denim jacket, the "Deadstock Blue" denim is designed effectively from the yarn level up, and accurately mimics the oxidized color of jeans that have been sitting untouched in a warehouse for 50 years. Build to look, wear, and age exactly like a "brand new" jacket from the 1940s found in the 2000s, and worn today.
Cut with a roomy body and single flap chest pocket, it's a near flawless (as far as we can tell) recreation of a mid-1940s denim jacket, from the all cotton stitching, to the buckle back, to the hardware and pocket orientation. The sort of jacket that looks good new but wears in extremely well as it relaxes and breaks in from a sturdy denim shell to something that perfectly fits your body and lifestyle.
The fabric is a nice and crunchy 13.5oz selvedge denim with a slightly uneven texture and subtle hairiness. The "Deadstock Blue" denim has an oxidized indigo color to accurately match and age as if the indigo in the fabric spent several decades oxidizing. The general color profile of this as it fades and wears will be unique when compared to new and unoxidized denim fabrics.
These are an unsanforized denim that will shrink to tag size upon the first wash.
True to size. Will shrink to tag size after first wash. Wash cold, hang dry.
